DC Motor Speed and Direction Control using Arduino Uno PWM + H-Bridge + LINX

Looking for bidirectional control of a dc motor. When using the USB 6009 PWM output there was quite a bit of jitter and noise. Switched to using the Arduino board PWM [the duty cycle is what changes the speed] + H-bridge Circuit [tried both the L298N and the superior Sparkfun's TB6612FNG] + 2023 LabVIEW CE. The problem is that at speeds other than the top speed [100% duty cycle], there is quite a bit of whining noises [not the jittery kind though which the USB 6009 had]! The simple VI is attached.
Can folks please recommend any hardware or software solutions for the above? Thank you. Sid
