Hello. I have a PXIe-8510 and TRC-8542 cable. I am trying to read the communication from a sensor through the XNET Bus Monitor. Unfortunately I get no data. The XNET Bus Monitor will import the database file from the sensor manufacturer. When I check the CAN signal with a multi-meter, both high and low start at ~2.5 V and about 1 second later go to 3.5 and 1.5 V for high and low, respectively. They then stay at those voltages. The data rate is default 1 MBit/s. I'm assuming the data rate is too fast to see any fluctuation on the multi-meter so it just sees 3.5 and 1.5 V. I've tried various configurations with the XNET Bus Monitor. I have not tried anything in Labview itself as I'm a complete beginner and don't know what to even do there. My only guess at this point is that the data rate between the sensor and XNET Bus Monitor do not match. The Bus Monitor does not have the option for bit rate in Bit/s, instead it requests Baud/s. My understanding is that these things are fundamentally different. Is this my issue and if so, how could I resolve that?
Any advice or ideas on where to go from here are greatly appreciated!
