l am a student working on my thesis project which is to control linear actuator with LabVIEW programming. l want to write code to control Igus Dryve D1 motor controller in LabVIEW by TC/IP. l want to control the time and the speed, distance of the stepper motor. What should be my steps? If anyone could help me. l would be very appreciated.
Igus Dryve D1 controller has two options to communicate via CAN Open and TCP/IP interface
My motor Igus stepper motor with contain(MOT-ST-42L-C-A) encoder
However I have a sample program to control motor with TCP/IP interface but it encountered errors. To communicate via TCP/IP do i need to install any specifc add ons in labview? Please let me know
