Hi All,
I have the B&K precision power supply 9115 connected to my laptop. I do not see the power supply in NI-MAX and device manager. I can connect to a keysight power supply through LabVIEW, that means I have the NI-VISA installed properly.
I am not sure why the B&K precision PS 9115 is not visible.
Any help is appreciated,

So I'm fairly new to using LabView, and am having some issue connecting a Tektronix TDS3052 oscilloscope to my computer using the NI GPIB-USB-HS connector. I have installed the driver associated with the scope (Tektronix TDS 3000 Series). The examples that came with the driver (attached image) do not work, resulting in:
Error -1074001665 occurred at TKTDS3K Error Query;
Instrument reports the following:
241: Hardware missing;
0: No events to report - queue empty
However, there is obviously some communication from the computer to the oscilloscope, as running LabView changes the scale and triggering level for the scope. The oscilloscope appears in MAX (attached image), and I can get queries to run without errors there. Any suggestions on how to get it to work in LabView?

I have a measurement program in Visual Basic 2008 that communicates over GPIB with the instruments. This runs fine under Windows XP.
Under Windows 7 I have no built-in GPIB card but an USB/GPIB adapter. I checked the communication with "Agilent Communication Tester" and it worked, but the measurement program cannot build up a communication.
In the debugger I have found that the constructor for the GPIB driver fails. I can chose one out of two driver DLLs: "LangInt.dll" and "Ivi.Visa.Interop.dll". Both of them fail.
Are these DLLs not suitable for Windows 7 or for the USB/GPIB adapter? Which driver should I use else?

I implemented PI controller by the TI concerto DSP, together with the manually tuned input voltage. But the tuning speed influences the integrator. If I increase the voltage fast, then it may have a large overshoot and go over the limit. If I increase the voltage slowly, the integrator may integrate too much and cannot actually control. Does anyone have ever encountered this problem before (PI controller with the manually tuned input)? Does anyone has the solution to it?

I am using a Particle measuring system instrument Lasair III 110 laser particle counter in my testing.
The communication of this instrument is Serial Rs 232.
I made a simple LabVIEW to control it for sampling and to collect the testing data and I have attached my code here.
The serial command for starting sampling is "SS" and the serial command for transmitting the last data sample (i.e. latest time). is "TL". Data is sent in standard CSV (comma separated value). The sampling time is 1 min.
However, I cannot get any testing results from the "TL" command. It only gave me "SS" in the indicator of read buffer.
When I used "YAT" for the command "SS" and "TL", I am able to get the latest data sample.
Really need help to figure out how to get the latest testing results and extract the useful test results to do some calculation by using "LabVIEW".

I am using HP 33120A wave form generator, which has a output linked with vibrator. I have when I open the wave form generator it starts my vibrator. I have a file names std wave form generator from the example, which is able to read all the data using labview as well as I am able to change the freq and amplitude from the program.
I want to know from the same program how can I control the starting input to vibrator. I mean to say, once I OPEN my wave form HP33120a, it should not immediately start the vibrator, it should ask my permission to start vibrator from the labview program. Is it possible to control this wave form generator in this way.

I'm already busy a while, trying to synchronize a NI PXI5402 and a PXI5412 function/arb generator. I need two signals of 134.2 KHz to be in phase, but can't reach this yet at the moment.
I tried using the NationalInstruments.ModularInstruments.SystemS
The first thing I tried was:
-Initialize both devices to generate a sinus of 134.2 KHz
-Configure the PXI5402 to receive a digital rising edge trigger on RTSI0
-Configure the PXI5412 to receive a digital rising edge trigger on RTSI0
-Configure the PXI5412 to ConfigureSoftwareEdgeStartTrigger
-Configure the PXI5412 to export the StartTrigger signal to RTSI0
-Send a software trigger to the PXI5412
The second thing I tried to synchronize with the help of the TClock in the following way:
-Initialize both devices to generate a sinus of 134.2 KHz
-Add both devices to the TClockSynchronizableDevicesCollection DevicesToSynchronize
-Configure the PXI5412 for homogeneous triggers.
-Synchronize with the TClock library
-Initiate the generation
I see both devices generate the requested sinus wave, but the phase has a difference of about 16 degrees. The phase difference is about the same in both ways I tried. Where comes this delay from and how to improve this delay?

I am pretty new in LabVIEW programming so I would like a help from you.
I need to automatize a measurement using the Microwave analyzer N9915A. It is necessary just to set some parameters and do a acquisiton of a trace. My setup: Keysight N9915A connected via micro usb cable + LV2016.
I do not have problems using write functions, but when I try to get the data (using VISA READ block) it happens an error. The instrument says "Error: -420, query UNTERMINATED" and the VI shows timeout error: "Error -1073807339 occurred at VISA Read". Using the Open VISA Test Panel, write and read functions work properly.
Could somenoe help me with this problem? Is there some details I am forgetting regarding to configurations?
I have been using the IBIC.exe to execute parameters. I am using the IBwait function at the end of the script to set the power supply on at 30.0v otherwise it reverts to zero volts. Is there another Function to execute and keep the power supply at 30.0v? (see attachment for full source code)

I am using a HP 33120A wave generator to run my vibrator. the vibrator is running well without lab view program, now when I try to control wave form generator using lab view program it gives some jurk sound if I use initialise .vi function, but when I initialise first and then use the same program the vibrator is running fine.
Can anyone tell me , whats the problem with this function.

I need to control an applied motion servo motor (model: SVAC3-S-E220) through labview. Basically, I need the motor to perform a sinusoidal oscillatory motion (So, I have provided a sinusoidal signal as an input to the TCP write command, refer event case 3 of the attached AI_TCP_siggen.vi). Though the signal is being generated and written to the TCP write function too, the motor is not performing any motion.
I had downloaded a vi from the Applied motion website that enables the motor to perform basic linear distance moves at the desired acceleration and velocity. That seems to be working fine and I'm able to control the motor. The issue here is that I need the motor to perform a sinusoidal oscillation and Im not able to do that.
Kindly do look into the problem and suggest me the necessary corrections. I'm attaching my vi along with this post.

We use NI 9751 DI driver connected to cRIO-9074 to drive an solenoid injector on an engine. We can indeed inject fuel, but the current profile is never updated, always stays at the default waveform, even though we changed the current value.
Basically we copied the example program of NI, "NI 9751 (DI) - RevF5.lvproj". We also found that the lower while loop in the attached graph (RT) never executed. We have clicked the "scope on" in the express vi in FPGA. We have also switched on "DIScopeRefresh", "DIScopeRead".
here I would like to ask, is there somebody already worked this out and can give some hints? I know it will not update every time but i wonder why it seems like never worked.
