Hello All,
I'm working on a project concerning integration of differents sensors on an U.A.V.
We'll connect different instruments (with USB, RS232 ports) directly on an embedded PC, integrated on the U.A.V.
A ground station (PC with Windows 7) with a Labview program will manage the system.
The transmission will be via radio, one modem attached to the ground PC, another to the embedded PC.
The embedded PC should be a mini PC with Windows 7, on which you can install Labview :
Fit-PC2i : http://www.fit-pc.com/web/products/specifications/?model[]=fit-PC2i-D1G-C1100
My idea is to control the VISA ressources (RS232, USB ports...) of the embedded PC, from the ground PC.
I'd like to use the "NI-VISA SERVER" application to do that :

And use ethernet radio modems in this system.
Do you have any suggestion or remarks concerning this system?
Thank you for your help.
Laurent
