I am currently building a test bench, which is divided into a human-machine interface (HMI) and a backend, on which the control of the components takes place. The communication between HMI and backend is realized with the help of a CAN bus. As backend I have the cRio 9045 with the module NI9881. I would like to realize the control in Python. Therefore my question: Is the NI9881 module compatible with Python? So can I read or send CAN messages on the cRio using the NI9881 in Python? If it is possible, could someone possibly give me a code example?
