Hello everyone,
I am trying to communicate with a data precision 8200. The commands are very simple (http://www.ko4bb.com/manuals/128.146.189.114/DataPrecision_8200_6.5_Digit_Calibrator_Service_Manual.pdf page 2-6) for example to change the voltage I would write "V2+50" which means: voltage mode- 100 V range - positive polarity - 50 V. I have isolated the instrument from the other set-up to minimize cable problems. When I scan in MAX, the instrument comes up with its correct identifying number. However, when I try to communicate with it in NI-488.2 Communicator, it does not respond. I do not get an error, but the zeros on the instrument flicker so perhaps it is reading the command, but it is incorrect. I have played around with the EOS settings and included quotation marks, \r and \n at the end and switched out the cable. I'm sure its something small, but any clue what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!
